Although Wilson Chandler has recovered from a hamstring injury and will playing in his second game of the season Friday night, Nuggets coach Brian Shaw said after the morning shootaround that he still planned to start Jordan Hamilton in the small forward spot and bring Chandler off the bench.

"As Wilson builds his physical stamina back up and gets more in game shape, we'll make a decision," Shaw said.

He added that he hoped to move Chandler back into the starting lineup "pretty soon."

Playing 21 minutes, Chandler had 12 point and five rebounds in the Nuggets' Wednesday night home win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

"He got through that well, but he's still a little winded," Shaw said. "One of the luxuries is that if it doesn't go good or anything, I can put him in as early as I need to. But I want to keep slowly introducing him to the lineup."

The Timberwolves didn't have a morning shootaround Friday and are coming in with a 6-3 record and off a 124-95 rout of Cleveland at home Wednesday. Sixth-year center Kevin Love, averaging 27.1 points, is second only to Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant on the league scoring list. Kenneth Faried will start out on him Friday night.
