The Milwaukee Brewers have officially signed right-handed pitcher Michael Brady to a minor league contract, the club formally announced on Monday morning. As a result of the newly inked pact, Brady has also received an invitation to major league spring training.

While just narrowly missing out on the postseason in 2017, the Brewers have now begun looking toward the 2018 campaign.

The 30-year-old Brady has only one season of big league experience under his belt as it stands today. Making his major league debut just last season as a member of the Oakland Athletics, the right-hander will now be looking to make the Brewers’ roster after producing 17 regular-season relief appearances in 2017.
