The Miami Dolphins have a couple more weeks before a slew of their players hit the free agent market. Between now and then, the team has to make a decision on what players they want to bring back. Cornerback Brent Grimes, who should be near the top of the list, is "pretty optimistic" that he will be back with the Dolphins in 2014.

The start of the NFL's free agency period is just over two weeks away, giving players with expiring contracts a chance to find a new team. For the Miami Dolphins, there are numerous players who could be headed to the open market, including Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes.

Grimes signed with the Dolphins on a one-year contract last offseason after spending most of the 2012 on injured reserve with a torn Achilles tendon. Earning his second Pro Bowl berth, Grimes was one of the top cornerbacks in the league last season, and should be near the top of the list of players Miami wants to re-sign this year.
