MVP: Andrew McCutchen

There was only one dissenting vote in the clubhouse poll, and it was cast by McCutchen.

Many of his teammates needed barely a moment to come up with an answer. Closer Joel Hanrahan didn't even wait for me to finish the question.

"C'mon," he said. "Who else is it going to be?"

At the break, Cutch is batting .362 and is on pace to finish with 34 homers and 114 RBI. He isn't just the Pirates' MVP; he arguably has been the best player in the National League in the season's first three months.
