"Niners wide receiver Braylon Edwards said today that he's been dealing with a shoulder injury he suffered in the fourth quarter of a 19-11 win against the Redskins on Nov. 6.
Edwards, who indicated he had an injury to his AC joint, has four catches for 52 yards in three games since the injury. He has one reception — on seven targets — the past two weeks.
Edwards missed four games after undergoing knee surgery earlier this season. He indicated today he might benefit from taking some time off to get fully healthy for the postseason. When asked about such a possibility at his news conference, Niners coach Jim Harbaugh said, "Braylon hasn't said that to me, so that's something I can discuss with Braylon.""
