Everyone is looking for who is to blame at Newcastle United right now, and the reality is there is not just one man; it is everyone at the club.

Steve McClaren is culpable, yes, and I believe a change of head coach is necessary - but that isn’t suddenly going to solve the hundreds of issues which plague that football club.

Managing director Lee Charnley and chief scout Graham Carr are also complicit, but again they are not the only ones.

The players are just as responsible as anyone else as well.

They have to kop their fair share for their consistently inept performances, particularly away from home.

From the top to the very bottom there is a rot spreading at the club right down, and it is taking them towards the Championship.

Mike Ashley has created the entire structure that is currently there, so if there is one person responsible then ultimately it is him, but we all already know my less-than-complimentary views on him.
