"If someone told you before the season that the trio of Brian McCann, Yunel Escobar and Chipper Jones would have a total of five homers and 29 RBIs with nearly a quarter of the season completed, you'd probably have thought the Braves would be in last place.
And you'd have been right.
But you'd have also thought they'd be a lost worse off than two games under .500 and 6-1/2 games out of first place in the NL East, with a better record than five other NL teams. Right?
Well, that's how many long balls and ribeyes the Braves have gotten from that trio. Between them, McCann, Escobar and Jones have only one more RBI than Jason Heyward, and three fewer homers than the rookie sensation.
Troy Glaus also has as many homers as McCann, Escobar and Jones, and only four fewer RBIs."
