Before taking the field Tuesday for his fourth All-Star Game - he sat out last year with a leg injury - Ryan Braun noted that his 0-for-7 ledger in those showcases felt a bit deceiving.
"It seems like I've hit some line drives right at people," he said.
Braun was robbed in one of his at-bats Tuesday but had no bad luck in his other two, whacking a run-scoring double and a triple to become the first Milwaukee Brewers all-star to collect two hits in the game.
For good measure, Braun added a running, leaping catch in the fourth inning to rob former teammate Prince Fielder of a hit as the National League romped to an 8-0 victory over the American League at Kauffman Stadium.
