The Milwaukee Brewers breathed a sigh of relief Tuesday afternoon as manager Ron Roenicke was able to put Ryan Braun back in the lineup.

Braun exited in the 11th inning of Monday's game with the San Francisco Giants with right-groin tightness, an issue with which Braun dealt for a good portion of spring training.

Throw in the sore right Achilles' tendon Braun has also been nursing, and no one could blame the injury-wracked Brewers for being a little skittish with regard to the health of their star player.

"Ryan's OK today," Roenicke said. "It's nice to have him in the lineup. It made a difference last night when he wasn't in the lineup and we went into extra innings trying to get one run and he's not there."
