"Right-hander Brandon Webb is scheduled to throw his fourth session of live batting practice Wednesday and could graduate to a minor-league game this weekend if he gets through the day without any issues.

"We're still one at a time," pitching coach Mike Maddux said. "If all goes well tomorrow, why not?"

Webb won't be ready for the start of the regular season and will likely head to the disabled list shortly before to Opening Day."
