The Sixers reconvened as a team on Monday in Detroit after having a four-day break, which had to feel like heaven during this grueling season.

They have 32 games left to play in their 66-game regular season, beginning with the Pistons on Tuesday night. They are mired in a five-game losing streak, tied with Boston for the longest such streak heading into the All-Star break.

It is for that reason that the Sixers were actually happy to be practicing, especially Elton Brand, who had missed the last two games because of a sprained thumb on his shooting hand.
