New York Mets manager Terry Collins is sitting two of his top hitters on Saturday against Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Patrick Corbin. Still, Collins said he had no hesitancy having left-handed hitting Curtis Granderson and Daniel Murphy both on the bench on the same day, given the lineup generally has struggled to produce runs.

Corbin, who will be making his second start since returning from Tommy John surgery, has unimposing splits. During his major league career, left-handed batters are hitting .245 and right-handed batters are hitting .259 against the southpaw.

John Mayberry Jr. is starting in right field and Eric Campbell is starting at third base.
