As difficult as it is for Stars fans, they'll just have to wait and see whether Brad Richards will return soon from concussion-like symptoms or whether he will be dealt before the NHL trade deadline at 2 p.m. Monday.

After all, the Stars must be just as patient.

Richards on Saturday missed his sixth game because of the light-headedness and headaches caused by a hit to the jaw Feb. 13. He said he has skated on four occasions and is feeling better, but he added that he doesn't know when he might be able to play.

Add that to his impending free agency and the fact that GM Joe Nieuwendyk must consider trading him now or risk losing him for no return this summer, and you have a lot of uncertainty involving the team's best player.
