Very few informed people want to see a Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor in a boxing match. But that doesn’t mean fools like me wouldn’t pay to see it. I know very little about boxing and MMA, but I’m all for seeing either one of those two getting beaten up.

While there has been plenty of verbal sparing between the two, it isn’t likely to come to fruition - at least until one of them really needs the money. But all the talking hasn’t been wasted, we at least got this entertaining video game simulation.

The video was put together by film director and photographer Adam Arnali and fashioned after the classic Nintendo boxing game Mike Tyson’s Punch Out. The graphics are perfect. So is the music, and the sound effects are serviceable.

The first two rounds are entertaining. It proceeds much as people suspect a real boxing match between the two would — with Mayweather giving a boxing lesson and not letting the mixed martial arts star get inside.

Then things get interesting…

Yikes, that escalated quickly. Everything was going smooth with some jokes about Mayweather being a defensive, boring fighter and McGregor not having the conditioning to go 12 rounds. Then outta nowhere, we get McGregor high-flying kicks smashing Mayweather in the face and literally beating his.
