Antonio Conte heads a list of potential replacements for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho should the club fire him in the coming weeks, reports Mark Ogden of the Independent.

Conte is currently coaching the Italian national team, and he is unlikely to leave before Euro 2016. But the former Juventus man remains open to a Premier League move, Ogden adds, and could be tempted to alter his plans if Chelsea fails to reverse its poor run of form.

Mourinho retains support from club owner Roman Abramovich and the board, but a loss against Porto on Wednesday - and ultimate elimination from the Champions League - could force a managerial change.
