Two of ESPN’s draft experts, Ron Jaworski and Todd McShay, were among those singing the praises of quarterback Blake Bortles after his pro day on the Central Florida campus.

“I was really impressed,” said Jaworski, a former NFL quarterback. “On a scale of 1 to 10 today, I’d say a 10. He was very sharp.

“The concern I had coming in here is, No. 1, I wanted to see the ball come out of his hand. Does it explode out of his hand with a tight spiral? He aced that test.

“I thought he was a little measured – elongated and methodical — in my study of his collegiate tape. Jordan Palmer (who’s working with Bortles and conducted his pro day) worked with him to get the ball out of his hand quicker. It came out quickly and with more velocity and accuracy.”

Like Jaworski, McShay attended quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s pro day at Louisville on Monday.
