Winger David Booth, who’s been a healthy scratch the last three games, will return to the lineup on Monday night when the Canucks take on the Los Angeles Kings.

It’s uncertain where Booth will play, but informed speculation suggests it would be on the second line with Ryan Kesler and Chris Higgins. It appears that rookie Jeremy Welsh may be the player coming out of the lineup.

While Canucks coach John Tortorella would only say the Sedin twins would be back together to start the game, he’s obviously looking for Booth the play a physical game and throw around his 6-foot-215-pound frame against the imposing Kings.

The Canucks have lost five of their last six games, a slid that began with a 5-1 loss to the Kings in L.A. on Nov. 9. Including that game, they are 1-4-2 and have scored just seven goals in those six losses.
