"The news is not going to get significantly better for the Chargers' depleted offensive line for a few weeks.

Left tackle Marcus McNeill, one of three starting offensive linemen who watched Sunday's 31-20 loss from the sideline, is expected to miss at least two more games, and McNeill acknowledged after Sunday's game there is no guarantee he will return this season.

"It's day-to-day," said McNeill, who arrived in Chicago separate from the team on Friday night following a trip to North Carolina to see a specialist about his neck. "We're just making sure … I'm talking about it with my family. It's always a concern when you have an injury to make sure you're doing it the safest way possible."

It is especially a concern for McNeill."
