Arsene Wenger and Ronald Koeman are squaring up for a fight to sign Hull whizkid Josh Tymon.

Arsenal boss Wenger and Everton chief Koeman will make their move for the teenage defender in the January transfer window.

The pair have targeted Tymon, 17, after tracking the Hull-born starlet’s progress with the Tigers development squad this season.

And they had him watched in Hull’s EFL Cup win at Bristol City on Tuesday night.

Tymon earned rave reviews for his performance in his side’s 2-1 triumph at Ashton Gate after getting the nod from KCom boss Mike Phelan to replace crocked first-choice left-back Andy Robertson, who is sidelined for two months with a calf injury.
