Kyle Drabek continued his campaign for a spot in the Blue Jays starting rotation Tuesday night, keeping his arm hot and his head cool through five shutout innings against the New York Yankees.

The 24-year-old right-hander struck out five — mostly on the back of his fastball, which was consistently registering in the mid-90s — and fought hard to keep the Yankees off the board when they had runners on base.

"When I was getting in trouble I was able to keep my composure and keep my mechanics in check," Drabek said after his outing.
