The Toronto Blue Jays have non-tendered utility man Ryan Goins and pitcher Tom Koehler ahead of Friday’s deadline, making them free agents.

Goins, 29, played 143 games in 2017, hitting .237/.286/.356 with 21 doubles, nine home runs, 62 RBIs, 31 walks, while striking out 96 times in 418 at-bats. He was projected to make $1.8 million, according to MLB Trade Rumors.

Koehler, 31, posted a 6.69 ERA in 72.2 innings with 62 strikeouts and 35 walks. He surrendered 16 home runs. Koehler was projected to make $6 million, according to MLB Trade Rumors.
