"As bad as the Blazers' shooting was, their defense was even worse. Monta Ellis (30 points, five assists), Stephen Curry (28 points, eight rebounds, four assists) and David Lee (29 points, 20 rebounds) were a three-headed monster steering a Warriors team that looked like it was the one in a dogfight for the playoffs.

And the most alarming part came in the first quarter, when Marcus Camby left with a neck strain and did not return. As he was trailing a play on offense near the basket, Camby's legs tangled with those of Rudy Fernandez and Camby collapsed to the floor. On the way down, David Lee fell hard on top of Camby and his head smashed onto the court.

Camby lingered on the floor on his stomach for an extended period as team trainer Jay Jensen tended to him, rose gingerly and headed directly to the locker room with 1:52 left in the quarter. The Rose Garden crowd groaned audibly when a replay was shown on the big screen at center court."
