"Two days after learning of the death of good friend and former teammate Wilson Holloway, Blake Griffin said he is dedicating his performances in this weekend's All-Star festivities to Holloway.

"I just want to do well and dedicate all this stuff I do to my friend," Griffin said of Holloway, who passed away Wednesday's after bout with Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Griffin and Holloway were close since their preteen years. They attended Oklahoma Christian School together and remained good friends up until Holloway's passing. Griffin was planning on seeing Holloway on Monday before his Los Angeles Clippers played the Thunder on Tuesday.

Now, Griffin will instead be attending Holloway's funeral service.

"Everybody obviously is deeply upset," Griffin said. "But at the same time, he wouldn't want anybody to feel sorry for him. He wouldn't want anybody to be upset about it. He's better now. He's not hurting.""
