Buccaneers safety Ahmad Black admitted his wallet is going to be a little lighter this week having been fined $21000 for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Saints tight end Jimmy Graham Sunday.

"I'm playing football though" Black said. "Obviously we've got to change the way we're going out there and playing but it's for a good cause the safety of the players. We've got to lower the strike zone."

That brings the Bucs fine total to $208875 for the first couple weeks of the season.

Of the three Bucs hits that received personal foul penalties on Sunday Black appeared the most obvious one he hit Graham high after he had already dropped the ball. Coach Greg Schiano said the Bucs are going to continue to emphasize hitting within the strike zone but Black admits it's a tough adjustment to make on the fly.

"We've been playing football for a number of years now and to change it all of a sudden its' going to be tough for us but it's something we've got to do" Black said. "It's going to be tough but in order to keep that check book heavy it's something you've got to do."
