"Chauncey Billups is "doubtful" for the Game 2 of the Knicks' playoff series against the Celtics, according to coach Mike D'Antoni _ who with prodding eventually called him "very doubtful."

The veteran point guard, who suffered what the team is calling a strained left knee when it buckled as he drove to the basket late in Game 1, did not participate in this morning's pre-game shootaround.

He also did not speak to reporters, but was undergoing treatment while his teammates practiced.

D'Antoni said he believes Billups could still play in Game 3 Friday night at Madison Square Garden."
