"The Buffalo Bills' defensive front seven could be without three starters for Sunday's game against the New York Giants.

Outside linebacker Shawne Merriman is listed as doubtful and did not practice Friday due to pain in his Achilles tendon. Merriman was held out of Wednesday's practice due to some shoulder pain he has been dealing with for several weeks. But he was fine for the first part of practice Thursday.

"The Achilles flared up in practice [Thursday]," Gailey said after Friday's session in the fieldhouse. "All along it's been the shoulder and then all of a sudden that thing started acting up [Thursday]. He's doubtful. I don't know if he'll make it or not.""
