"Buffalo Bills second-year wide receiver Marcus Easley, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday, has been diagnosed with a heart ailment a source told The Buffalo News.
It is unclear about the specifics of Easley's condition or whether it's career threatening. Easley was added to the Bills' injury report and listed as questionable last Friday with what coach Chan Gailey described as an illness. Easley left practice shortly after individual drills.
"It's not an injury and we think it will resolve itself shortly," Gailey said then.
Easley missed the team's season-opening victory at Kansas City after being scratched from the lineup Saturday evening. His agent, Ed Wasielewski, was not available for comment."
