"Hawks guard Mike Bibby missed the game at Charlotte on Tuesday and also could sit out Wednesday's game at Detroit because of an ingrown toenail on his left big toe.

Bibby said he has had problems with the nail before, with the usual remedy to remove some skin so he can function without pain. But he said the right half of the nail was removed this time to avoid an infection.

Bibby tried to participate in the team's shootaround Tuesday afternoon but couldn't go. He said he's not sure if he would play at Detroit."
