"Lance Berkman hopes to play in the Cardinals' series finale against the Royals on Sunday. Berkman has missed three games due to a sprained right wrist.

"I'm hoping to come in [Sunday] and be in the lineup," Berkman said following the Cardinals' Saturday win over Kansas City. "I don't know that. They want me to come and see how I feel."
