The winning streak may be over, but the Bruins continue to pile up points while beating quality opponents.

This time the Bruins took care of the Chicago Blackhawks in their first visit to TD Garden since lifting the Stanley Cup back on June 24, 2013. Boston used a strong finishing kick in the third period to lock down a 3-0 shutout. It ended a four game losing streak to the Blackhawks dating to Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final and made it 13 straight games with a point for the Black and Gold.

Patrice Bergeron opened and closed the scoring for the Bruins and has the second 25-goal season of his career, while also totaling six goals in his past five games. The first score was a strong tip of a Matt Bartkowski shot pass from the left point. That was the only scoring in the first 40 minutes of the game.
