"Since the Browns rejoined the league in 1999, the Bengals have had success in the run game against their Ohio rivals. That continued on Sunday as Cedric Benson and the run game got back on track in a 23-20 win.

Benson had his third-straight 100-yard game against Cleveland with 106 yards on 21 carries and a touchdown. It is his third 100-yard game of the season but his first since the Week 4 win against Buffalo.

"We set the tempo and message early," Benson said. "We were pounding them early and everyone was playing well."

Benson had 64 of those yards during the first quarter. On the first drive, he got great blocks by Chris Pressley and Jermaine Gresham and then another one from Andre Caldwell upfield for a 33-yard gain which moved the ball to the Browns' 9. But the Bengals were unable to capitalize and turned it over on downs when Benson was stopped on fourth-and-goal at the 1 on a run off right guard.

After a Cleveland three-and-out, Benson scored on a 16-yard run off left end off nice blocks from Pressley and Andrew Whitworth."
