Ben Wallace looks like a kid playing his first basketball game.

He slaps and hugs coaches and trainers. He sprinkles powder into his hands — and on the scorer's table — creating a cloud of dust, fun and coughs for fans in the front row. Then, he does a series of side chest bumps, runs past half-court and stares at the opposing bench before returning to his side of the court for one more chest bump before heading to the bench.

Wallace is 37 years old, and coming to the end of his NBA career.

"He is part of Pistons royalty," former teammate Richard Hamilton said of Wallace, who played in his 1,087th game as a member of the Pistons.

It's been a long road.
