"A couple of names could be added to the Giants' disabled list today: Carlos Beltran and Sergio Romo.

Beltran missed his seventh straight game Monday with a strained right wrist and is doubtful for the rest of the four-game series in Atlanta. He could go on the 15-day DL before tonight's game if he's still unable to swing a bat with authority.

"If he shows up and there's very little or no improvement, we've got to make a call," manager Bruce Bochy said. "If we don't think he'll be ready within the 15 days, it makes sense to make the move."

Beltran feels better swinging right-handed than left-handed. "Even that, he has to let go of the bat to protect his hand a little bit," Bochy said.

Romo's sore elbow, which has made him unavailable (he hasn't pitched since last Tuesday), is "still a little cranky," Bochy said. "He's not where he wants to be, and he becomes a possibility for the disabled list.""
