"Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley, out for two weeks with a right mid-foot sprain, will not accompany the team today for the start of a two-game road trip that begins with Friday night's game in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
Beasley is out indefinitely after injuring his foot late in the fourth quarter of the Timberwolves' Jan. 6 game against Cleveland at Target Center. The fourth-year forward was the Timberwolves' second-leading scorer (12.9) behind forward Kevin Love before he was injured. Beasley is going through daily rehab work and has been doing some light running, but Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman said he is not ready to play. Beasley has missed the past seven games. "
