The Bears made an addition to their offensive line corps by signing veteran Rob Turner.

The Bears suffered quite a few injuries to their offensive line over camp and the first preseason game, so between Kyle Long's viral infection keeping him out, Jordan Mills' occasional balky foot and walking boot, Eben Britton's injury and Brian de la Puente's knee, the Bears are adding offensive lineman Rob Turner to the roster, according to his agency.

Turner has played center and guard, and is also listed at tackle, so he offers versatility; he played five years for the Jets.
