"Shane Battier had one of the toughest weeks a defensive player could have, matching up with Richard Hamilton, Carmelo Anthony, Jason Kidd and Kevin Durant. But he said it was not his toughest stretch.

"In four games in five nights, I had Carmelo, Paul Pierce, LeBron (James) and somebody else," Battier said. "That was a hell week."

He did not recall who the fourth assignment was, but after the first three, it did not matter who the fourth was."
