"Point guard Baron Davis admitted to being "very rusty'' Monday in his first practice with the Knicks, but sounded upbeat on what he can give the team in the future, saying it can be unstoppable.
Davis participated in a 5-on-5 scrimmage. During a segment the media was allowed to watch, Davis threw a couple of wild passes for turnovers but he also buried a 3-pointer and drove past Toney Douglas for a layup.
Coach Mike D'Antoni also called Davis rusty but is looking to slot him in during the Knicks' four-game road trip, willing to play him limited minutes at first and build from there."
