"Cavaliers coach Byron Scott listed point guard Baron Davis as questionable for tonight's game against the Orlando Magic at The Q, but he made it sound a lot more like doubtful _ and Davis agreed.

"More doubtful than anything,'' said Davis, who has been suffering from back spasms since trying to return Thursday in Portland after missing eight days after the death of his grandmother. "I just want to get a good practice in (Tuesday) and see how I feel.

"The way I looked in Portland, the way I felt in Portland, didn't really do me any good and definitely do the team any good. I want to be out there when I can definitely have an impact on the game. Each and every day my back is getting a little stronger. I've got to continue to take care of the spasms and just get stronger.''

Scott usually requires a player to practice before returning to the lineup, but he made an exception last week."
