Banner has Eagles personnel planning for every scenario

"The NFL lockout doesn't mean idle days at the Eagles offices, team president Joe Banner said Friday. If anything, executives have a heavier workload as they plan for all manner of scenarios for when and how league business may resume.

"I'm full go and nothing that I would normally be doing at this point is any less. If anything, it's a little more because you're planning contingencies," Banner said after speaking on a sports innovation panel at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. "There's no shortage of work right now for anybody."

Banner said he's still engaged in planning for the draft and free agency, whenever it may arrive; marketing deals and other business obligations; and training-camp preparations. On top of that he's also accounting for the numerous possible outcomes and timetables of the ongoing dispute between players and owners.

One decision that will have to be made if the lockout continues into the summer is whether training camp will be held at Lehigh or if the delay forces the Eagles to train in Philadelphia, in which case fans won't be able to watch the team's preparations."
