Monta Ellis insisted it was “just another game.”

But the Milwaukee Bucks guard showed otherwise with another strong performance against his former Golden State team, helping the Bucks to a 103-93 victory at Oracle Arena on Saturday night.

Ellis, who received a loud ovation from the Warriors fans during the lineup introductions, improved to 3-0 against Golden State since the trade one year ago that sent him to the Bucks.

He finished with 26 points, five assists and five rebounds despite first-half foul trouble, and backcourt mate Brandon Jennings contributed a game-high 31 points and 10 assists.

“They love me,” Ellis said of the Golden State fans. “I was here for 7½ years and I did everything I could for this team. And they appreciate it and I appreciate them.

“Even though we had bad seasons, they still came out and supported us. Even before the game started, when I first stepped on the court, you could feel the energy. I played a lot of games here and I felt like I was at home.”
