Arizona State senior center Jordan Bachynski was named the Pac-12 men’s basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

The senior from Calgary, Canada, averaged 21.5 points, 12.0 rebounds and 8.0 blocks in two home victories for the Sun Devils. For the week, he shot 15 of 20 (.750) from the field, and 13 of 16 (.813) from the free-throw line. His 16 total blocks made him the Pac-12 career record holder with 288.

In an 86-82 overtime win over Oregon State, Bachynski recorded 17 points and 15 rebounds with seven blocks. He then posted a career-high 26 points in a 74-72 victory over Oregon, adding nine blocks and nine rebounds. Bachynski leads the Pac-12 in blocked shots, averaging 4.5 per game, and is second in the Pac-12 in rebounding at 9.1 per game
