Ignazio Abate is being lined up by Arsenal as a replacement for Bacary Sagna, who it is believed will leave the Emirates at the end of the season. Abate's employers Milan are said to have already targeted Newcastle's Davide Santon as his replacement, though Arsenal will reportedly face competition from PSG for the right-back.

1) Abate is the son of former Udinese and Inter goalkeeper, Beniamino Abate, who now acts as a goalkeeping coach for AC Milan's Under-19 side.
