The results of NFL preseason games become little more than footnotes in the back of media guides, but it's better to look good than the alternative.

And the Cardinals looked sharp Saturday, beating the Texans 32-0 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

Despite missing two of its top three receivers, the Cardinals passing game operated at peak efficiency. Twelve players caught passes. Three quarterbacks combined to pass for 349 yards, three touchdowns and complete 79.4 percent of their passes.

And it was a shutout, so, yes, the defense did its part, too.

"The quarterbacks trusted (receivers), and we let the ball go on time," coach Bruce Arians said. "We made some really great throws."

UPS is not a Cardinals sponsor, but it might want to consider signing on after what the Browns did for the team on Saturday night.
