"It took a month, several interviews and a little drama, but Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt has finalized the structure of his offensive coaching staff.
Receivers coach John McNulty is now the quarterbacks coach and former NFL quarterback Frank Reich, who spent the past four seasons as an assistant with the Colts, will coach receivers.
Reich's hiring will fuel speculation the Cardinals are interested in Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, who is expected to be released in the next month. Reich was the Colts quarterbacks coach in 2009-10 and coached receivers last season.
Whisenhunt declined to answer questions regarding Manning, citing NFL tampering rules.
"I hired Frank because he's a good coach," he said."
