"Gilbert Arenas did not play because he experienced lingering knee soreness.

Problem is, it's not his left knee — the knee he injured in April 2007 and underwent three subsequent surgeries — that concerned him Monday.

Arenas told the Orlando Sentinel that his right knee has bothered him since March 28.

"With both knees being a little sore, I decided just 'rest me' so I can go into the playoffs 100 [percent]," Arenas said.

Arenas added that he expects to have an MRI exam on his right knee today as a precautionary measure."
