Arizona quarterback Anu Solomon is expected to join Baylor as a graduate transfer for the 2017 season, sources told 247Sports' Tom Loy and Steve Wiltfong. Solomon was in and out of the Wildcats' lineup in 2016 after suffering a knee injury in practice following a season-opening loss to BYU and never reclaimed his starting spot from Brandon Dawkins.

Solomon became a star for the Wildcats during his redshirt freshman season, throwing for 3,793 yards and 28 touchdowns and leading Arizona to its first and only appearance in the Pac-12 Championship Game. In 2015, Solomon's performance took another step forward even as his team lost four of its last five regular season games and struggled to a 7-6 finish.
