"Watching a receiver bend his head backward to look for a ball is an uncomfortable sight for most coaches. But when the receiver is Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt goes to a happy place.
"He's unbelievable at making those catches," Whisenhunt said.
Fitzgerald made one of those catches, a 37-yarder that set up the Cardinals' winning score against the Eagles on Sunday.
Quarterback John Skelton faced heavy pressure, then lofted the ball as he was hit.
Fitzgerald scored two touchdowns, giving him 70 for his career and moving him past Roy Green for most in franchise history.
Fitzgerald said the Cardinals developed resiliency through a six-game losing streak in the first half of the season.
"I would like to have a great win where we score 42 points and everybody's able to have a great day," Fitzgerald said. "But this is the NFL. These guys are really good.""
