On if the Rangers should re-sign Josh Hamilton:

Moore: I think the decision in a way will actually be taken out of their hands because I think he'll get such a big offer from another club that it will make their response, which will be proportional and not up to what another club does, I think it will allow them to say, "Look, we wanted him back but we couldn't do it at those numbers. Now we're going to take that money and devote it the areas we feel will make this team better."

On how you replace Hamilton's production if he leaves:

Grant: You don't replace the numbers, you're going to have to use more than one guy to replace the numbers. And I think David's right. Ultimately, somebody's going to give this guy an offer that is going to be an out of the park offer and the Rangers aren't going to be willing to step up. I think Josh is going to take the highest dollar value that's on the market, and the Rangers have to start looking at guys that they're going to replace him with. There's any number of ways that you can go in center field, but if you take a center fielder, is he more of a leadoff guy or is he a No. 3 hitter? There's all sorts of ramifications of how you try to replace him. It's not a great season to go out and try to find a left-handed center fielder.
