"Another Vikings player has been pulled over for allegedly going faster than 100 mph on a Twin Cities freeway, according to media reports.
Wide receiver Bernard Berrian is accused of driving 104 mph in a 60 mph zone on I-694 in Oakdale about 9:30 p.m. Monday, according to WCCO-TV. The station reported that Berrian was reportedly "polite" to the Minnesota State Patrol trooper who pulled him over. The State Patrol said alcohol was not detected.
Last Saturday night Berrian's teammate, running back Adrian Peterson, was ticketed by police after he was clocked doing 109 mph at Minnesota 62 and Gleason Road in Edina.
"It is a little bit odd, but on the other hand I like the publicity about it because it sort of tells people here are the ramifications. ... And you're going to get caught," Capt. Matt Langer of the Minnesota State Patrol told WCCO on Friday."
