"The Texans lost the Jacksonville game when Chris Brown got to the 1 and fumbled into the end zone.

They lost the Arizona game when Brown was stopped short of the goal line on third and fourth downs on the last series.

"We've got to find a way to run the ball with some type of consistency," coach Gary Kubiak said. "It's so difficult to stay on the field and keep the defense off the field. We're not doing that very well at all."

The Texans committed one turnover, and it was a big one.

On third-and-8 at their 42 with the score 21-21, quarterback Matt Schaub took a quick drop and threw to Kevin Walter on the right sideline. Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie stepped in front of Walter, intercepted the pass and scored a 49-yard touchdown easily.

"The kid made a good play," coach Gary Kubiak said. "I couldn't tell if the ball was late or what, but he's a good corner, and he made a great play. He got his hand on the ball."

Andre Johnson had another huge day, catching eight passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns.

His 17-yard scoring catch in the fourth quarter might be one of the best plays in franchise history because he knocked down three defenders on his way to the end zone."
